Searching and filtering awards
How to narrow the award database to the handful that are actually relevant to you.

The Browse page shows every award in the database. Filters let you cut it down quickly.
Search
The search bar matches against award names, publishers, and descriptions. Partial matches work — searching "tech" will surface awards with "technology" or "tech startup" in the title.
Filters
Industry — Filter by the industries the award is targeted at. An award tagged with "Professional Services" shows up whether you search B2B, consulting, or legal.
Deadline — Narrow by when the entry closes. You can set a range or pick a rolling window (next 30 days, next quarter). Awards with no set deadline are excluded from deadline filters.
Fee — Entry fee range. Use this to quickly eliminate pay-to-play awards with fees that don't match your budget.
Prestige — Filter by the star rating (1–5). Three stars and above is a reasonable starting point if you want to focus on awards with genuine brand value.
Risk level — Flag level. Green (low), amber (moderate), red (high risk of being pay-to-play or poorly structured).
Match score — Only show awards above a certain match percentage. 60% and above is a good first filter to remove obviously irrelevant listings.
Open for entries — Toggle to show only awards currently accepting submissions.
Sorting
Awards sort by match score by default. You can also sort by prestige, deadline, and entry fee. Sorting by deadline is useful in the final weeks of a quarter when you're deciding what to prioritise.
Saved filters
You can't yet save a filter set as a named view, but if you bookmark the URL, the filter state is preserved in the query string — sharing that URL with a colleague will give them the same filtered view.
When nothing shows up
If a search returns zero results, try:
- Removing the most restrictive filter (often the fee or match score floor)
- Checking the spelling of the search term
- Using a broader industry category
If you're confident a specific award exists but can't find it, it may not be in the database yet. Use the feedback button on the Browse page to request it.
