Overview

Vault Law 100 is Vault’s flagship national prestige ranking of the most prestigious law firms in the United States, compiled from associate surveys of lawyers rating peer firms. It is published by Vault, a career and workplace research platform now operated with Firsthand, and firms value it because prestige rankings are widely used in legal recruiting, branding, and competitive benchmarking. Its credibility comes from a large survey base (over 20,000 associate responses in recent editions) and its focus on perceived prestige rather than revenue or headcount.
