Overview

Health Care Heroes is a regional recognition program run by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal that honors individuals and organizations making outstanding contributions to the Twin Cities’ health care community. The awards spotlight clinicians, administrators, innovators, and community partners across categories such as care delivery, innovation, community outreach, and leadership. Companies and institutions pursue it for local visibility, employer-brand credibility, and third‑party validation from a respected business publication. Honorees are selected via an editorial judging process, not a pay-to-play listing.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be an individual, team, or organization working in or closely with the health care sector in the Twin Cities region
• Nominee’s primary impact must be demonstrated through health care delivery, innovation, administration, research, or community health improvement
• Activities and achievements cited in the nomination must be current or recent (within roughly the past 12–18 months) and show a clear, positive impact on patients or community health
