Twin Cities Fast 50

Overview

The Twin Cities Fast 50 (often called Fast 50) is an annual ranked list by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal recognizing the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Twin Cities metro based on audited revenue growth over a multi-year period. It is run by the Business Journal’s editorial and research staff, using company-submitted financials that are verified by an independent accounting firm. Companies pursue it for regional visibility, employer-branding, and credibility with investors and customers, as it is a data-driven, editorially selected recognition rather than a pay-to-play listing.

Eligibility Requirements

• Independently owned and privately held, for‑profit business
• Headquartered in the 24‑county Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area
• Meets the program’s minimum revenue threshold and demonstrates strong multi‑year revenue growth, with financial statements submitted for verification by a third‑party accounting firm
