Triangle Business Journal’s Women in Business Awards (sometimes referred to as Women Who Mean Business/Outstanding Women in Business) honors high‑achieving women executives, entrepreneurs, and community leaders across the Raleigh–Durham–Chapel Hill Triangle. Run by the regional business journal, it recognizes leadership, professional accomplishment, and community impact. Companies and nominators pursue it for regional visibility among business decision‑makers and as a media‑vetted credibility signal, with honorees featured in TBJ editorial coverage and at an awards event.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a woman working in the Triangle region (Raleigh–Durham–Chapel Hill and surrounding areas)
• Nominee must hold a significant leadership, executive, entrepreneurial or key professional role within her organization
• Self‑nominations or third‑party nominations must be submitted via the official Triangle Business Journal online form by the stated deadline
