Triangle Fast 50

Overview

Triangle Business Journal’s Triangle Fast 50 Awards honor the 50 fastest-growing privately held companies in North Carolina’s Triangle region, ranked largely on revenue growth over the previous three years. The program is run by the Triangle Business Journal (a regional arm of American City Business Journals) and is widely used by winners as a marketing and recruiting credential. Rankings are data-driven, based on company‑submitted and independently verified financial information rather than peer voting.

Eligibility Requirements

• Company must be privately held and headquartered in the Triangle region of North Carolina (typically Wake, Durham, Orange and surrounding counties).
• Must demonstrate significant revenue growth over the past three fiscal years (exact minimum revenue thresholds are specified in the nomination form).
• Must submit revenue figures and other requested financial information for verification by Triangle Business Journal’s third‑party accounting partner.
