Triad CFO of the Year

Overview

Triad CFO of the Year is a regional recognition program run by the Triad Business Journal (an American City Business Journals outlet) honoring chief financial officers in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina for excellence in financial leadership, strategic management, and organizational impact. The awards highlight CFOs from a range of industries and company sizes whose work has significantly advanced their organizations. Companies pursue it for local visibility, employer-brand credibility, and networking with the region’s executive community. Winners are selected via an editorially managed nomination and review process, not a pay‑to‑play ranking.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must serve as CFO or equivalent senior financial executive (e.g., VP of Finance) for their organization
• Organization must be located in or have significant operations in the Triad region of North Carolina
• CFO must have been in their current role for at least 12 months as of the nomination deadline
