St. Louis Leaders in Diversity / Diversity in Business

Overview

St. Louis Leaders in Diversity / Diversity in Business is a regional recognition program run by the St. Louis Business Journal that honors organizations and executives that demonstrate measurable commitment and impact in diversity, equity and inclusion. Honorees are selected through an editorial review based on accomplishments such as inclusive hiring, leadership diversity, supplier diversity and community engagement, rather than paid placements. Companies pursue the award for local credibility, employer branding, and visibility among St. Louis–area business and civic leaders. As a Business Journal–run program, it carries a solid editorial credibility signal within the regional business community.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a company, nonprofit, or organization with significant operations in the St. Louis region
• Must demonstrate meaningful, documentable efforts and results in diversity, equity and inclusion (e.g., workforce diversity, leadership representation, supplier diversity, community or internal DEI initiatives)
• Self-nominations and third‑party nominations are accepted, but nominees must be willing to provide information and participate in related coverage and events if selected
