Overview

Seattle Leaders in Diversity / Diversity in Business is a regional recognition program by the Puget Sound Business Journal that honors companies and organizations in the Puget Sound region that demonstrate strong commitments to diversity, equity and inclusion in their workforce, leadership, culture and community engagement. Run as an editorial awards program, honorees are profiled in the journal and celebrated at an event, giving recipients valuable visibility with Seattle‑area business and civic leaders. Because selections are made by the PSBJ editorial team rather than as paid advertising, the award carries meaningful third‑party credibility for DEI efforts.

Eligibility Requirements

• Organization must do business in the Puget Sound region (greater Seattle area/Washington state market served by Puget Sound Business Journal)
• Can be any type of organization (public, private, nonprofit, education or government) and any size, as long as it demonstrates meaningful diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
• Nomination form must be completed online by the stated deadline, including narrative responses describing DEI strategy, programs, metrics and leadership commitment
