It is run by the local San Antonio Business Journal newsroom as part of the American City Business Journals network, with honorees selected through an editorial nomination and review process rather than pay-to-play. Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a woman business leader working in the San Antonio area or whose primary impact is within the San Antonio region
• Must hold a significant leadership role (such as owner, executive, senior manager, or key decision-maker) in her organization
• Must demonstrate notable professional achievements and contributions to the community or industry within the past few years
