Overview

San Antonio Business Journal’s Diversity in Business Awards (sometimes styled as Leaders in Diversity/Diversity in Business) honors organizations and individuals in the San Antonio area that demonstrate strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in their workforce, leadership, culture and community engagement. It is produced by the San Antonio Business Journal’s editorial team as part of its regional awards portfolio. Companies pursue it for local brand visibility, third‑party validation of their DEI work and coverage in the Journal’s print and digital channels. As a Business Journal–run, editorially selected program, it carries solid regional credibility but is not national in scope.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be based in or have a significant business presence in the San Antonio area
• Award recognizes companies, organizations or individuals that demonstrate a sustained commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace or community
• Self-nominations and third‑party nominations are generally accepted via the San Antonio Business Journal’s online form by the stated deadline
