The Portland Business Journal’s Book of Lists compiles editorial rankings of the largest and most influential companies in the Portland metro area across multiple categories, including overall largest companies by revenue and employment. It is produced annually by the PBJ newsroom as a data-driven reference for executives, dealmakers and marketers. Companies pursue inclusion for local credibility, visibility with investors and partners, and as a third‑party validation based on reported business metrics rather than pay‑to‑play submissions.

Eligibility Requirements

• Company or nonprofit operates in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan region
• Must provide accurate financial, employment or other survey data to PBJ when contacted or via periodic data collection forms
• Subject to Portland Business Journal editorial verification and ranking methodology; inclusion is at PBJ’s discretion
