Overview

Pittsburgh Fast 50 is an annual ranking by the Pittsburgh Business Times that recognizes the 50 fastest-growing privately held companies in the Pittsburgh region based on revenue growth over a multi-year period. The program is run editorially by the Business Times (a Bizjournals outlet) using company-submitted, data-driven financial information that may be verified by outside accountants. Companies pursue it for regional visibility, credibility with customers and investors, and recognition among the area’s top-growth firms.

Eligibility Requirements

• Privately held, for-profit company headquartered or with significant operations in the Pittsburgh region
• Must have a minimum baseline annual revenue (typically at least $1 million in the earliest comparison year)
• Must provide three years of revenue data for growth calculation, which may need to be reviewed or verified by an independent accountant
