Overview

Leaders in Diversity / Diversity in Business is a recognition program run by the Phoenix Business Journal that honors companies, organizations and individuals in the Phoenix metro area that demonstrate exceptional commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Honorees are selected through the publication’s editorial review of nominations highlighting measurable efforts, initiatives and outcomes. Companies pursue it for local credibility, employer-brand visibility, and coverage in the Journal’s special section and event. It carries a moderate editorial credibility signal as a regional business journal–curated list rather than a pay-to-play ranking.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be based in or have a significant presence in the Phoenix metropolitan area
• Open to companies, organizations and individuals that demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace or community
• Self-nominations and third-party nominations are accepted; nominees must be able to provide specific examples and metrics of their diversity and inclusion efforts
