Phoenix Business Journal’s Fast 50 (sometimes branded as Phoenix Fast 50 or Fastest Growing Companies) recognizes the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Phoenix metro area based on revenue growth over a multi-year period. It is run by the Phoenix Business Journal, part of the American City Business Journals network, and is positioned as a data-driven ranking derived from company-submitted, third-party-verified financials rather than a pay-to-play list. Companies pursue it for local credibility, media exposure, and networking with other high-growth firms in the region.

Eligibility Requirements

• Headquartered in Arizona or with a significant operational presence in the Phoenix metro area (per Phoenix Business Journal Fastest Growing Companies criteria).
• Privately held, for‑profit company with a minimum revenue threshold (historically at least low seven figures in the most recent year) and positive revenue growth over the required multi‑year period.
• Must submit accurate revenue figures for the specified look‑back period and agree to third‑party verification by an accounting firm engaged by the Phoenix Business Journal.
