Overview

Philadelphia Business Journal’s Best Real Estate Deals awards recognize the most impactful commercial real estate transactions, developments and dealmakers in Greater Philadelphia over the prior year. The program is run by the Philadelphia Business Journal editorial team and highlights deals based on their scale, complexity, community impact and innovation rather than pay-to-play advertising. Companies and deal teams pursue it for regional visibility among investors, lenders and tenants, and because honorees are featured in special editorial coverage and celebrated at an awards event. Selection is editorially driven, with nominations used as input but final decisions made by PBJ staff.

Eligibility Requirements

• Project, transaction or deal team must be based in or significantly impact the Greater Philadelphia region.
• Deals must have closed or projects must have reached a major milestone (such as completion or opening) during the eligible 12-month period specified for the 2026 program.
• Nominations must include key details such as parties involved, deal size or project scope, timing, and a description of the deal’s significance and impact; self-nominations are allowed.
