Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 honors 40 rising business and civic leaders under age 40 who are making significant professional and community impact in the Greater Philadelphia region. It is an editorially selected, nomination-based recognition run by the Philadelphia Business Journal (an American City Business Journals outlet), not a pay-to-play list. Companies and individuals pursue it for regional visibility, networking with peers, and a strong third‑party credibility signal within the local business community.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be under age 40 at the time of the 2026 awards program
• Nominee must live and/or work in the Greater Philadelphia region
• Self-nominations or third‑party nominations submitted through the Philadelphia Business Journal online form by the stated deadline
