Orlando Outstanding Women in Business / Women Who Mean Business

Overview

Orlando Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business (often branded as Outstanding Women in Business / Women Who Mean Business) honors high-achieving women executives, entrepreneurs and community leaders across Central Florida. Run by the Orlando Business Journal’s editorial team, the program recognizes 25 honorees plus a Businesswoman of the Year for professional accomplishment, leadership and community impact. Companies and individuals pursue it for regional visibility, credibility with peers and clients, and coverage in the journal’s print and digital channels; selections are editorially driven rather than pay‑to‑play.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a woman working in a business or organization based in Central Florida (typically Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Volusia or Brevard counties)
• Demonstrated significant professional achievement, leadership and community involvement
• Self-nominations and third-party nominations accepted; nominees must be available to participate in editorial coverage and the May 7, 2026 awards event if selected
