Nashville Business Journal’s Women of Influence / Women Who Mean Business–style programs recognize outstanding female leaders in the Nashville area for their professional achievement, leadership, and community impact. Run by the Nashville Business Journal (part of the American City Business Journals network), these honors are editorially selected from open nominations rather than bought placements, which gives them strong local credibility as a benchmark of leadership and influence. Companies and executives pursue the recognition for reputation building, employer branding, and networking with other high‑impact leaders in the region.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a woman working in the Nashville area or whose primary business impact is in the Nashville region
• Must hold a significant leadership, executive, or entrepreneurial role demonstrating measurable business or community impact
• Self-nominations and third-party nominations accepted; nominee must be willing to participate in Nashville Business Journal coverage and related events if selected
