Nashville CFO of the Year

Overview

Nashville CFO of the Year is an annual program run by the Nashville Business Journal that recognizes top chief financial officers across Middle Tennessee for excellence in financial leadership, strategic impact, and community involvement. Honorees are typically profiled by the journal and celebrated at an awards event, giving companies and executives regional visibility among business leaders and dealmakers. The program is editorially run (not pay‑to‑win) and follows a nomination and judging process similar to other American City Business Journals (ACBJ) city awards, which adds credibility and networking value for winners.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a sitting CFO or senior financial executive (e.g., VP of Finance) for a company or organization in the greater Nashville area
• Organization must have a significant presence/operations in Middle Tennessee
• Self-nominations and third-party nominations accepted via the Nashville Business Journal online form by the 2026 deadline
