MITX Awards

Overview

MITX Awards are the annual recognition program run by MIT Technology Review's MIT Technology Review / MITX community, honoring standout innovators and organizations associated with technology and design excellence. Companies and creators pursue it for visibility, peer validation, and association with a credible MIT-branded media platform; the competition’s credibility is supported by MIT Technology Review’s long-running editorial reputation and judge/reviewer process. For the 2026 cycle, nominations are open and semifinalists are reviewed before winners are selected by the editorial team with input from expert judges.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be under 35 years old as of October 1, 2026
• Nomination is open globally for scientists and inventors
• Semifinalists must complete a follow-up application
