Overview

The Milwaukee Corporate Citizenship / Partners in Philanthropy Awards, run by the Milwaukee Business Journal in collaboration with United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County, recognize companies and their nonprofit partners for exemplary philanthropic giving, volunteerism and community impact in the greater Milwaukee area. Honorees are selected through an editorial nomination and review process rather than pay-to-play sponsorship. Companies pursue it for regional visibility, credibility in CSR and ESG efforts, and coverage in the Milwaukee Business Journal. The program is viewed as a reputable regional business-journal award with input from civic and nonprofit leaders.

Eligibility Requirements

• Applicant must be a for-profit company with significant operations in the greater Milwaukee area
• Nomination must highlight a specific nonprofit partner and describe the partnership’s philanthropic or community-impact initiatives
• Organization must be willing to have its story and basic giving/volunteer information published by the Milwaukee Business Journal if selected
