Overview

Milwaukee Business Journal’s CFO of the Year awards honor top chief financial officers in the Milwaukee area for excellence in financial leadership, strategic impact, and contributions to their organizations and the broader business community. Run by the editorial team of the Milwaukee Business Journal, the program is part of the American City Business Journals family of regional executive honors. Companies pursue it for local visibility, third‑party validation, and coverage in a widely read business publication, which lends strong editorial (non–pay-to-play) credibility.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be currently serving as chief financial officer or the top senior finance executive for their organization
• Organization must be based in or have significant operations in the greater Milwaukee area / southeastern Wisconsin
• CFO must have been in their role for at least 12 months by the nomination deadline
