Run editorially by the Memphis Business Journal (an American City Business Journals outlet), the program highlights leaders admired by peers, employees, and civic stakeholders across multiple industry categories. Honorees are selected through an editorially managed nomination and review process rather than a pay-to-play ranking.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a CEO, president, executive director, or equivalent top executive of a for-profit company or nonprofit organization based in the greater Memphis area
• Organization should demonstrate positive performance, growth, or community impact under the nominee’s leadership
• Self-nominations and third‑party nominations are accepted via the Memphis Business Journal online nomination form by the stated deadline
