Los Angeles Business Journal’s women-in-business franchise recognizes outstanding female executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals driving innovation and growth across the greater Los Angeles area. Historically branded as “Women Who Mean Business” and now commonly referred to as “Women’s Leadership” / outstanding women in business honors, it is an editorially selected, regional business-journal award rather than a pay‑to‑play ranking. Companies and nominees pursue it for visibility in the LA business community, networking at the awards program, and a credible third‑party signal from a well‑known local business publication.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a woman in a leadership, executive, entrepreneurial, or other significant professional role
• Nominee’s primary business activities must be based in or significantly impact the greater Los Angeles area
• Nominations (including self-nominations) must be submitted online by the stated 2026 nomination deadline
