The Los Angeles Business Journal’s Healthcare Heroes (often branded as “Heroes in Healthcare” or “Healthcare Heroes Awards”) is an editorial awards program recognizing outstanding physicians, nurses, administrators, and other professionals who have made exceptional contributions to health care in the Greater Los Angeles area. Run by the Los Angeles Business Journal, it highlights leadership, innovation, and community impact across hospitals, clinics, and related organizations. Companies and institutions pursue it for local visibility among business and health care leaders and the credibility of being selected by a respected regional business publication.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a health care professional, executive, or organization serving the Greater Los Angeles area
• Nominator must submit an online nomination form through the Los Angeles Business Journal event portal
• Nominee’s work must demonstrate significant impact, innovation, or leadership in health care within the past year
