Jacksonville Outstanding Women in Business / Women Who Mean Business

Overview

Jacksonville Business Journal’s Outstanding Women in Business / Women Who Mean Business program (now branded as Women of Influence) honors high‑impact female executives, entrepreneurs, and community leaders in the Jacksonville area. It is an editorial recognition run by the Jacksonville Business Journal, part of the American City Business Journals network. Organizations and colleagues pursue it for regional visibility, credibility with clients and peers, and coverage in a special print/online feature. Honorees are selected through an editorial review of nominations rather than a pay‑to‑play process.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a woman working in the Jacksonville, Florida area or surrounding Northeast Florida region
• Nominee must hold a significant leadership role (executive, founder, senior manager, or equivalent) with a track record of professional achievement
• Nominee must demonstrate meaningful community or industry impact beyond her day-to-day job responsibilities
