Overview

America's most recognized ranking of the fastest-growing private companies. First launched in 1982 as the Inc. 500, it expanded to 5,000 companies in 2007 to reflect the breadth of the U.S. entrepreneurial economy. Rankings are determined solely by percentage revenue growth from the start to the end of the three-year measurement period — no judging panel, no pay-to-win dynamic. A genuine editorial credential.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit company
• Founded no later than 2022 (must have operated for at least 3 full fiscal years)
• Minimum revenue of $100,000 in the first year of the measurement period
• Minimum revenue of $2,000,000 in the most recent fiscal year
• Not a subsidiary, division, or joint venture of another company
• Cannot be a holding company or primarily a financial services company
• Must be able to provide verified financial documentation
