IDEA Awards (Industrial Designers Society of America)

Overview

The IDEA Awards are the Industrial Designers Society of America’s annual International Design Excellence Awards, recognizing excellence in industrial/product design, concept design, and related disciplines. They are run by IDSA and are widely cited as a credible industry benchmark because entries are judged by a jury and finalists are advanced through multiple rounds. Companies and designers pursue IDEA for third-party validation, visibility, and association with a long-running, globally recognized design program.

Eligibility Requirements

• Open to professional and student designers worldwide
• Professional entries must have been placed into distribution between March 1, 2024 and March 1, 2026; student entries must meet collegiate submission rules
• Entries must be submitted in the correct category and paid for separately
