Houston Most Admired CEOs

Overview

Houston Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO Awards honor top chief executives in the Houston area who are recognized by their peers and community for strong leadership, company performance, community involvement and innovation. The program is run editorially by the Houston Business Journal (part of The Business Journals network) and selections are made from open nominations reviewed by HBJ editors. Companies pursue it for regional credibility, visibility among Houston’s business community, and coverage in HBJ’s print and online platforms.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a CEO, president, or top local executive (equivalent C-level leader) of an organization with a significant presence in the Greater Houston area
• Nominee’s organization must be in good standing and actively operating during the award year
• Nominator must submit an online nomination form through the Houston Business Journal/Bizjournals portal by the stated deadline, including narrative responses about leadership, company performance and community impact
