Overview

Canada's Top Growing Companies is an annual ranking from The Globe and Mail's Report on Business that recognizes Canadian companies with strong three-year revenue growth. Companies pursue it for national visibility, credibility with customers and investors, and benchmarking against peers; eligibility and submissions are reviewed with supporting financial documentation, which adds credibility to the ranking.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be headquartered in Canada with significant operations in Canada.
• Must have Canadian ownership
• Be independent and for-profit
• Must not be a division or subsidiary of another company, unless that company is a holding company only.
• Eligible companies must operate at an arm’s length from any related companies.
• Eligible companies must not be a franchisee or the member of a network (e.g. a co-operative).
• Eligible companies must not be a charitable organization, non-governmental organization, not-for-profit organization, etc.
• Must not be entities whose primary business is investing in other established companies.
