Dayton Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business (formerly branded as Outstanding Women in Business) honors high-achieving women business leaders and entrepreneurs who are making a significant professional and community impact in the Dayton region. Run by the Dayton Business Journal, the program is an editorially selected regional recognition that highlights leadership, innovation, and influence across industries. Companies and nominators pursue it for local visibility, credibility with clients and peers, and coverage in the Journal’s print and online platforms.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a woman in a leadership, ownership, or other key decision-making role in a business or organization serving the Dayton region
• Nominee must work for a company or organization with a significant presence in the greater Dayton area
• Self-nominations and third‑party nominations are accepted; nominators must provide details on the nominee’s professional achievements, leadership, and community impact
