Dayton CFO of the Year

Overview

Dayton Business Journal’s CFO of the Year awards recognize top chief financial officers and senior finance leaders in the Dayton region for outstanding financial stewardship, strategic leadership, and contributions to their organizations and the local economy. The program is run editorially by the Dayton Business Journal (part of The Business Journals network) and is a longstanding regional recognition that highlights individual excellence rather than company performance. Companies and executives pursue it for regional visibility, reputational benefit, and networking with other senior leaders in the Dayton business community. Honorees are selected through an editorial nomination and judging process, not a pay-to-play ranking.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a chief financial officer or hold an equivalent senior financial leadership position (e.g., VP of Finance) for their organization.
• Nominee must have served in the CFO or equivalent role for at least one full fiscal year at their current company or organization.
• Nominee’s organization must be located in, or have significant operations in, the Dayton, Ohio regional market served by Dayton Business Journal.
