Columbus Business First’s Leaders in Diversity / Diversity in Business awards recognize companies, organizations and individuals in Central Ohio that demonstrate exemplary commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in their workforce, leadership, supplier relationships and community engagement. Run by the Columbus Business First editorial team as part of the American City Business Journals network, honorees are selected through an editorially driven nomination and review process rather than pay-to-play. Organizations pursue this recognition to highlight their DEI impact, attract talent, and gain local visibility among business and civic leaders.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a business, organization or individual based in or significantly serving the Columbus, Ohio region
• Must demonstrate a track record of advancing diversity, equity and inclusion through internal initiatives, leadership, policies or community impact
• Self-nominations and third‑party nominations are accepted via Columbus Business First’s online nomination form by the stated deadline
