Columbus Business First’s Healthcare Heroes (also branded as Heroes in Healthcare in some years) is a regional awards program that honors individuals and teams in the Columbus, Ohio area who have made outstanding contributions to healthcare, including clinicians, administrators, volunteers and innovators. Run by the editorial staff of Columbus Business First, the program recognizes leadership, innovation, patient advocacy and community impact across multiple categories. Organizations pursue it for local brand visibility, talent recognition and association with a respected regional business publication that applies editorial judgment in selecting honorees.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a healthcare professional, executive, staff member, volunteer or organization serving the Columbus, Ohio region
• Nominee’s primary work or impact must be in healthcare (e.g., patient care, administration, research, education, community health or innovation)
• Nominator must submit an online nomination form with detailed examples of the nominee’s contributions within the eligibility period specified by Columbus Business First
