Overview

Columbus Business First’s Best Places to Work awards recognize outstanding employers in Central Ohio based on confidential employee engagement surveys administered and analyzed by Quantum Workplace. The program highlights companies with strong workplace cultures, high employee satisfaction, and effective people practices across multiple size categories. Companies pursue it for local employer branding, talent attraction and retention, and visibility in Columbus Business First’s editorial coverage and live awards event. Results are data-driven from survey responses rather than pay-to-play editorial.

Eligibility Requirements

• Organization must have a physical presence and conduct business in the Central Ohio/Columbus Business First coverage area
• Minimum of 10 employees in Central Ohio to participate in the program
• Must agree to conduct the Quantum Workplace employee engagement survey within the specified survey window for the 2026 program
