Overview

Cincinnati Business Courier’s ‘Cincinnati Leaders in Diversity / Diversity in Business’ awards (often branded locally as part of the Courier’s diversity and inclusion honors) recognize Greater Cincinnati organizations and leaders that demonstrate measurable commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in their workforce, leadership, culture and community impact. The program is run editorially by the Cincinnati Business Courier, part of the American City Business Journals network. Companies pursue it for regional employer‑brand visibility, recruiting value and local credibility. Honorees are chosen via the Courier’s editorial review rather than as a pay‑to‑play marketing list, which gives it moderate regional prestige.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a business, nonprofit or individual leader based in or significantly serving the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region
• Organization must demonstrate concrete programs, policies or initiatives that advance diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace or community
• Self-nominations and third-party nominations are accepted using the official Cincinnati Business Courier online form by the stated deadline
