The Cincinnati Business Courier’s “Fast 50” (also branded as Fast 55 in some years) is an annual list and awards program honoring the fastest-growing privately held companies in Greater Cincinnati based on revenue growth over a multi‑year period. It is run by the Courier’s editorial team, which verifies financial data submitted by nominees. Companies pursue it for local visibility, credibility with clients and investors, and recognition at an awards event and in a special print/digital feature. Because rankings are data-driven and curated by a well‑known regional business journal, it carries solid regional editorial credibility.

Eligibility Requirements

• Privately held, for-profit company headquartered in the Greater Cincinnati region
• Minimum of three full years of operating history with verifiable annual revenue figures
• Demonstrated significant revenue growth over the most recent three-year period, with revenues submitted and certified via the Courier’s nomination form or CPA verification
