Charlotte CFO of the Year

Overview

The Charlotte Business Journal’s CFO of the Year Awards recognize top chief financial officers and senior finance executives in the Charlotte region for outstanding performance, strategic leadership, and impact on their organizations. Run editorially by the Charlotte Business Journal (part of The Business Journals network), the program spotlights finance leaders across public, private, nonprofit and other categories. Companies pursue it for regional visibility, credibility with peers and boards, and coverage in a respected business publication rather than pay-to-play promotion.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must currently serve as a CFO or equivalent top/senior finance executive (e.g., Treasurer, Director of Internal Audit or similar)
• Nominee must have at least three years of experience serving as a CFO or equivalent role during their career
• Nominee must be a full-time employee of the nominating company located in the Charlotte-area business community
