“Best Real Estate Deals” is an editorial awards program run by the Charlotte Business Journal that recognizes the most significant commercial real estate transactions and developments completed in the Charlotte region in the prior year. It highlights top leases, sales, mixed‑use and adaptive‑reuse projects, and the teams behind them. Companies pursue it for local visibility among investors, brokers, and civic leaders, and because selections are made by the CBJ editorial staff rather than via paid placements, giving it solid regional credibility.

Eligibility Requirements

• Project or transaction must be a commercial real estate deal located in the greater Charlotte region
• Deal must have closed or project must have reached a significant completion milestone during 2025 to be eligible for the 2026 awards
• Nominations must be submitted online by a deal participant (such as developer, broker, owner, architect, contractor, lender, or attorney) with sufficient project and financial detail for editorial review
