CFO of the Year (Financial Executives International)

Overview

Financial Executives International’s CFO of the Year program recognizes chief financial officers and finance leaders for outstanding performance, leadership, and impact. It is run by FEI, a long-established professional association for senior finance executives, which adds credibility through formal eligibility screening and CEO endorsement requirements. Companies pursue it to validate finance leadership, build reputation with peers, and highlight measurable business and governance achievements.

Eligibility Requirements

• Chief Financial Officer or department head/head of finance
• Organization must be headquartered in the United States and may be public, private, or non-profit
• Nominee must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Nominee must have been in the current role for at least 2 years
• Nomination must be validated and endorsed by the nominee’s CEO
