Overview

The Boston Business Journal’s Fast 50 (often branded as the Fast 50 Awards) honors the 50 fastest-growing private companies in Massachusetts based on audited revenue growth over a multi‑year period. It is run by the Boston Business Journal, which collects revenue figures and has them independently verified by a third‑party accounting firm. Companies pursue it for regional visibility, credibility with investors and customers, and networking with other high‑growth firms; rankings are data‑driven rather than pay‑to‑play.

Eligibility Requirements

• Privately held, for-profit company headquartered or with significant operations in Massachusetts
• Must meet Boston Business Journal’s minimum revenue thresholds and have consecutive year-over-year revenue growth over the required multi-year period
• Must submit a nomination form and allow financial information to be verified by the BBJ’s designated accounting/verification partner
