The Birmingham Fast 50 is Birmingham Business Journal’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the Birmingham area, based on revenue growth over a set measurement period. It’s run by the Birmingham Business Journal, and companies pursue it for local visibility, third-party validation, and recognition among peers and potential customers. As a BBJ regional awards program, it carries solid local credibility and is commonly used in marketing and recruiting.

Eligibility Requirements

• Privately owned company
• Based in the Birmingham area / eligible for Birmingham Business Journal coverage
• Able to report revenue figures for the required three-year growth period
