Baltimore Business Journal’s Most Admired CEOs (sometimes branded locally as a “Most Admired CEO” recognition) honors top chief executives and equivalent leaders in the Greater Baltimore region for outstanding leadership, company performance, and community impact. It is an editorially curated regional business-journal award rather than a pay-to-play ranking. Companies and executives pursue it for local brand credibility, talent attraction, and networking with other C‑suite leaders. As a Business Journals program, it carries moderate regional prestige and is widely recognized in the local business community.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be a CEO or equivalent top executive (e.g., president, managing partner, executive director) of an organization serving the Greater Baltimore area
• Organization must have a significant presence or impact in the Greater Baltimore market covered by Baltimore Business Journal
• Nomination form must be completed online through the Baltimore Business Journal website by the stated deadline
