Baltimore Leaders in Diversity / Diversity in Business

Overview

Baltimore Business Journal’s diversity-focused awards (often branded as Diverse Business Leaders or Diversity in Business) honor executives, entrepreneurs and organizations in Greater Baltimore that demonstrate outstanding leadership in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in their companies and communities. The program is run by the editorial team at the Baltimore Business Journal, part of the American City Business Journals network. Honorees gain regional visibility, networking opportunities and third‑party validation of their DEI efforts through an editorially selected, non–pay-to-play list and related event coverage.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominee must be based in or have significant operations in Greater Baltimore (Central Maryland region served by the Baltimore Business Journal).
• Nominee must be a business leader, professional or organization demonstrating measurable leadership in diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Self-nominations and third‑party nominations are accepted; nominees must be willing to participate in editorial coverage and the recognition event if selected.
